Man, some of you guys deserve awards just for how useful you have been!!! You guys are life savers! I PQed several DD users today again that have not posted for a while here. Feel free to heckle your fellow judges as well if they are not logging in at least. I know people need time to read but posting an update is very considerate and much less worrying |

I know you guys pretty much already have all things covered, but I'd love to be a back up judge just in case. Also, I'm doing the presentation of Most Improved Art.

No there are 3 judges in each category. All 3 need to decide on a winner.
If you are a judge you will only know the winners of the categories that you are judging in.
Only admins get to see who wins EVERY category early. That is Amanda (isn't active this year), myself, UsedBooks, and OzoneOcean. All admins from DD are welcome to be admin here by default for obvious reasons. Ozone is the 1st to say he'd like to do it =p

Does that only apply to judges who haven't responded at all? It's taking me awhile to judge my final category, 3-D, and I've posted some of my thoughts, but I still have a lot to read from most of the entrants. But the other judges are ready to go, so I feel like a schmuck. :-/

You are all right. I see you posting in several categories. Just because you are not posting in 1 doesn't mean I'm going to send the dogs on you I'm mostly talking about members that have not posted or that posted long ago but have not made any new post for around a week (give or take) |

On August 20th I will start assigning back up judges to categories dead in the water.
Please post here if you are interested in this and how many potential categories you would be willing to back up. Many just need a final voice. Obviously you still can't be back up to your own nominated categories =p

Oh on another announcement
Me and Used Books will be leaving out on August 20th to go to Texas for a webcomic convention called DWEX. We will return on the 23rd so not sure how much you'll hear from us during that time.
