The "Create Your Own Award" Award

Since pretty much anyone that bothers reading this will be a judge, I would like to know what your opinion is about this award.

How should a winner be determined? There are two options. Have judges look over the list and select their favorites and make maybe 5 of them the winning awards. Or get all the submissions into a poll and have everyone come out to vote again...

So are you saying that this is an award where we have to decide which award is the best one and then decide who best suits it? or are you saying that we'll be approving or denying different awards based on if they're good or not? AKA 1 award chosen or multiple awards chosen?

Just what is amusing or what interests the judges. These are awards that are made up on the ballot. They have a name and winner. So just picking the best one.

I would go with compiling a list and having a vote off.  There will probably be a pattern to them with numerous user oriented awards.

Depending on how the nominations stack up the awards could just be given to various users? Example: Most write-ins goes to UserX?

I will just stick it in with the tie breaker (if we have one) then. Right now since the voting just started there aren't many write ins and there haven't been any multiples yet.

I think making them visible to all judges and letting judges vote.
